Hi Everybody,
The last 30 years has been a very interesting journey, and the best things to have come from mine are my two boys, Nathan and Brandon, and my 2 grandchildren. For those of you who knew me well enough will be surprised to know that I'm a special education teacher in Southgate, and I'm very proud of this because it was a quite a feat to accomplish. I got married in 1978, and when I divorced in my thirties, I started school at EMU with a seven and a three year old. As a late bloomer I started teaching In Southgate in 1998, and have since completed my master's from U of M Dearborn, in Learning Disabilities. My job is very, very challenging in today's world, but I wouldn't trade my journey for anything! I'm looking to buy my first house back home in Trenton (there's that late bloomer thing again!), and once again it's an up and down ride of good and bad, but I've come to expect nothing else. My motto throughout my life has been "Better late than never," and I wouldn't have it any other way. I'll be out of town the weekend of the reunion, but I wish everyone a safe and wonderful reunion weekend!
