After graduating from Ferris, I moved to Grand Rapids Michigan and married my college sweetheart - Barry. We later moved out in the country - across from a farm and on a dirt road - to raise our two kids: Megan (a junior at Michigan State) and Scott (a freshman at Central Michigan). We are now enjoying the quiet countryside and the quiet of being empty nesters, even through our hobbies are so different. Barry enjoys hunting, fishing and dog training where I prefer more indoor activities such as sewing, crafts and reading.

Most of my early career was in supervision and marketing at Foremost Insurance. I left there 9 years ago to raise the kids and enjoyed volunteering with Girl Scouts and Athletic Boosters. I do miss attending high school sporting events! Two years ago, I returned to full time employment as a Project Manager with a national fabrics distributor. After years as a state lobbyist, my husband left Lansing to start his own management consulting business last year. We hope to be able to do some traveling now that the kids are grown, but we are learning they never really grow up and leave home.

I plan on making the trip to the Reunion. I don't see Trenton much as most of my family has moved out of state. I do look forward to seeing how everyone is doing 31 years after what we thought was the most important day of our young lives!
