I've lived in Eugene, Or since 1981. I have two step-sons (Zane, 28 and Blue Sky, 25) that live in Miami, a daughter (Sequoia, 20) in Illinois and another step-son (Aurie, 15) here in Eugene. I worked in the natural foods industry for 15 years as a graphic designer, database programmer and office manager, and am currently a graduate student at the University of Oregon in Community and Regional Planning; expect to finish by spring this year. I was lucky enough to spend 3 months on the island of Kefalonia in Greece last spring studying sustainable community development. I've wanted to go there since Mr. Kripinski's (?) Ancient History class and it was every bit as beautiful and culturally rich as he presented so many years ago.

I'm not sure whether I'll be able to make it yet this summer but we'll see how things unfold. Nice to see folks here at least and thanks to those who've been working to pull this together.
